 Bruce Belding has been a fulltime arbitrator since 1997, and has arbitrated over 300 large complex commercial, business, corporate and contract disputes, including:
Construction and operation of solar energy plant; valuation/pricing of petroleum coke;valuation of a chemical business;fair market rental valuation of Silicon Valley commercial and business premises; management and operation of a resort; operation and management of a limited liability company;venture capital investment disputes; investors v. operators of hedge fund; FDA drug approval dispute; medical device invention and licensing dispute; D & O insurance coverage and liability; corporate mergers and acquisitions (technology, medical services, sale of a division); intellectual property and trade secrets cases; accounting treatment of items under GAAP; franchise disputes (incl. ethnic food, deli, drive-up photo processing); employment termination; licensing agreements; breach of contract, fraud and fiduciary duty claims; law firm and partners' disputes; distribution/distributor agreements; securities disputes (incl. alleged mismanagement by investment advisor, unsuitable recommendations, excessive/unauthorized trading, breach of fiduciary duty, etc.); partnership and shareholder disputes.
Bruce has served as Arbitrator and Panel Chair for AAA Large Complex Case and the AAA's International Centre for Dispute Resolution International Panels.
In 1990, Bruce Belding received the AAA Distinguished Service Award for Responsible Use of ADR in Commercial Disputes. He is a Contributing Author to the College of Commercial Arbitrators' 'Best Practices in Commercial Arbitration' (Juris Publ., 2006)

RATES & PAYMENT INFORMATION |
Rates: $425 per hour for hearing and study time.

Cancellation Policy: If hearing, or days reserved for hearing, are cancelled or postponed within 30 days of scheduled hearing, deposits earned and no refunds unless reserved time rebooked.
Normally no charge for travel time within California, travel expenses payable by parties.
