Biographical Notes:
 Mr. Lavdiotis has been involved in the successful mediation of more than 2800 cases, and the arbitration of more than 450 cases involving many different kinds of legal disputes.
100% of his practice is now dedicated to mediation and arbitration work.
In recognition of his long and extensive practice as a successful mediator and arbitrator, Mr. Lavdiotis was honored as ADR Provider of the Month by the Alameda County Bar Association, in September 1996. He is frequently appointed to serve as a mediator or arbitrator by the Alameda County Superior Court, by the Contra Costa County Superior Court and by other state courts. Mr. Lavdiotis is often appointed a mediator by the Alameda County Bar Association’s ADR referral program and by the Contra Costa EASE program.
Mr. Lavdiotis has practiced law as a trial attorney since 1980. His private litigation practice emphasized a wide variety of general liability disputes, as well as insurance coverage litigation and professional negligence litigation.

Memberships & Affiliations :
 Mr. Lavdiotis is a member of the Arbitration Panels of both the Alameda and Contra Costa County Superior Courts, and he has served as a participant and panelist in the Alameda County Superior Court’s EDP and SETL Programs. He has also served as a panelist in the San Francisco Superior Court Pre-Arbitration Settlement Conference Program, in the Alameda County Bar Association ADR Referral Program, and in the Contra Costa Superior Court EASE program.

RATES & PAYMENT INFORMATION |
Rates: $375 per hour (as of January 1, 2009). 3 hour minimum charge. This fee is shared equally by the parties unless the parties have made another arrangement among themselves. There are no additional administrative charges. A deposit of $1200 is to be paid two weeks prior to the mediation or arbitration hearing date.

Cancellation Policy: There is a 14-day cancellation policy. If the parties cancel the proceeding fewer than 14 days before its date, the parties will be charged a late cancellation fee of 3 hours of time, or $1125.
