Biographical Notes:
As co-founder of the firm of Duckor Spradling Metzger & Wynne, Mike Duckor's litigation practice includes a broad background in health care, financial institutions, employment, securities, construction and real property litigation. It is often said that Mike's trademark is his ability to see the "big picture" and lead clients to an effective goal oriented resolution of their problems.
Mike is primarily responsible for management of the litigation side of the practice and has worked over the years to build a strong, effective and responsive litigation team within the firm. Mike is the managing principal of Duckor Spradling Metzger & Wynne. "As managing principal, I try to impress upon each member of this office the importance of responding quickly and efficiently to our clients' needs. Sharing these collective values strengthens our legal team and better serves our clients in reaching their business objectives."
In the last 20 years, Mike's practice has also included substantial work throughout the western states as a private mediator and arbitrator in complex business, real estate, construction, employment and professional liability matters. The insights gained through such experience provide Mike with a realistic perspective that is highly valued by the firm's clients.
Education:
He received his B.A. from the University of California at Davis in 1967 and graduated from University of California at Davis School of Law in 1970. While at UC Davis, Mike was the Associate Editor of the Law Review. He is a past President of the UC Davis Law School Alumni Association.
