Michael McCabe advised businesses and individuals in the San Francisco Bay Area for 30 years. He has practiced as a Mediator for more than 10 years, and has successfully mediated hundreds of disputes. His extensive civil litigation experience include real estate, business, employment, and insured party matters.
Education:
University of San Francisco School of Law (J.D.-1963), Graduate Theological Union, Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley (M.T.S.-1997).

Over 200 hours of formal mediation training, including Commercial Mediation ((40 hours, Nancy Yeend and John Paul Jones), Palo Alto, Ca., 3/95; Litigation Risk Management Institute Training, 12/96; Steven Rosenberg Training, Mediation and Conflict Resolution (40 hrs.), Mill Valley, Ca., 3/97; U.S. District Court Professional Mediation Training (14 hrs.) San Francisco, 4/98; U.S. Postal Service, Advanced Mediation Skills (20 hrs), San Francisco, 4/98. Other relevant training includes seminars presented by the Society of Professionals in Dispute Resolution (SPIDR), Bar Association ADR Section presentations, and courses in Organizational Behavior and Communications given at the St. Mary's College Executive M.B.A. Program, Moraga, Ca. (circa. 1987), and courses in Relationships, Counseling, and the like given at the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley, Ca. 1995-1997; special training there in the fields of Sexuality, Power Relationships, Alcoholism and Addiction.
