Biographical Notes:
Stefan Mason has extensive experience litigating employment and business disputes for both plaintiffs and defendants since 1967. He served as Editor-in-Chief of the UCLA Law Review and was a partner at Munger, Tolles and Olson until 1980.
Mr. Mason began serving as an arbitrator in 1974 for the American Arbitration Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Client Relations and Fee Disputes Program and, since 1993, has devoted himself exclusively to building his highly successful mediation practice focusing on litigated employment, business and professional disputes.
Mr. Mason has achieved resolutions in hundreds of mediations and has an enviable settlement rate. He writes and teaches extensively on effective mediation advocacy and is considered one of the most effective settlement facilitators in California. Mr. Mason has been a visiting lecturer at the UCLA School of Law and Pepperdine University School of Law, Straus Institute. He also serves as fellow of the International Academy of Mediators, whose goals include organizing a worldwide dispute resolution network and establishing a uniform system of qualification and certification standards for mediators.
