Biographical
Employment mediator Mike Ludwig practiced labor and employment law for more than 25 years, with a focus on wage and hour class actions, PAGA actions, retaliation, discrimination, and wrongful termination. While at Blank Rome LLP, he served as Vice Chair of the national labor and employment practice group.
Mike graduated from the USC Gould School of Law in 1994. He received his mediation training at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at the Pepperdine Caruso Law School in 2020.
Mike is a certified panel mediator for the U.S. District Court, Central District of California, and the California Civil Rights Department (formerly, the Department of Fair Employment Housing). He also serves as a Settlement Officer for the Los Angeles Superior Court’s Virtual Mandatory Settlement Conference (MSC) Program, focusing on the resolution of employment cases.
In 2024, Mike was selected as a Fellow of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, “a distinguished body of individuals drawing its membership from the best and brightest lawyers, academicians and scholars in the field of Labor and Employment Law.”
Mike is an active member of the Southern California Mediation Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association (Labor and Employment Section), the California Lawyers Association, and the Beverly Hills Bar Association.
